After more than two years of disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, no one could be blamed for wanting some relative steadiness in the property market. But with record inflation levels, rising interest rates and the continued threat of recession, real estate could be in for a bumpy ride. But where there is challenge, there is always opportunity.
In this EG Cities Live debate we will be gathering experts from across the Scottish real estate market to understand how investors, developers and financiers can find value in a changing real estate environment.
We’ll discuss how the investment market in Scotland has changed over the past year, what sectors and geographic locations are providing the biggest opportunities – from the small but growing BTR market to Aberdeen’s healthy retail park sector, and how the country is tackling the economic struggles that the whole of the UK is facing with its typical gusto.
